Description
Wrist & Thumb Immobilisation Splint is a brace for the immobilization of the wrist and thumb. It provides a firm support to the thumb, thumb column and the wrist. It also has 2 anatomical stays which are conformable and radio-transparent (palm and thumb column). In addition, this brace has a lightweight and breathable anti-bacterial 3D knit, for effective moisture wicking. It is also suitable for long term wear and treats conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome. Moreover, this splint has a combined action of rigid supports and straps for palm support.
Wrist & Thumb Immobilisation Splint is recommended for:
-Mild sprains of the wrist (functional treatment)
-Following carpal tunnel interventions
-Tendinitis and tendon pathologies of the wrist
-Painful sequelae of injuries
-Mild sprains of the thumb
-Resumption of activities after Pouteau Colles distal radius fractures.

Contraindications:
-Do not use the product if the diagnosis has not been confirmed and do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin. Also do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components.
