Description
Antibacterial Medical Honey of Medihoney is 100% Pure Medical Grade Manuka Honey in a single sealable, reusable tube.
Indications:
-Deep wounds and sinus cavities
-Infected and malodorous wounds
-Necrotic and sloughy wounds
-Surgical, post op wounds, donor sites and recipient graft sites
-Leg ulcers (venous, arterial and mixed aetiology ulcers) and diabetic foot ulcers
-1st and 2nd degree burns

Use:
Apply the honey directly to the base of the wound, avoiding direct contact between the wound and the nozzle of the tube.
You can also apply the honey into deep wound cavities or soaked into a suitable dressing.
Ensure that the Medihoney is in full contact with the base of the wound – approximately 3mm thickness (1/4 inch).
Apply more if wound fluid is present.
Cover the honey with a suitable non-adherent sterile pad or dressing.
The dressing should be sufficiently absorbent to manage wound fluid.
You can leave Medihoney Antibacterial Medical Honey in the wound for up to 7 days dependent on the amount of fluid present.
Change the dressing when it is saturated with wound fluid or if the cover dressing is leaking.
